Claire O'Brien
Claire is a Kiwi born / Australian trained Pilates
instructor with an interest in Osteopathy. She has
worked at a Pilates instructor for some of the top
Sydney Studios.
| A gymnast
from a very young age, Claire's fitness background
also includes high diving, competitive aerobics and an exciting interlude when she worked
as a circus performer and instructor, specializing
in trapeze work, for Club Med in Australia and
Indonesia.

She is currently pursuing her Masters in Osteopathy from
Unitec to complement her Pilates work.
Paul Jones
Paul comes to us from the UK where he trained with the acclaimed Body Control Pilates Association and did a classical apprenticeship with Paul Anthony McLinden of Ocean Wave Pilates.
| Paul discovered the benefits of Pilates nearly a decade ago following a series of cycling accidents. Prior to his arrival in New Zealand in February, Paul had his studio in the Peak District and worked at studios in Manchester and Brighton. |

Esther Hankinson
Esther was introduced to Pilates six years ago and
having developed a keen interest and a love for the
Pilates Method, she is now certified in Mat and has
completed her Studio instructor training with Polestar
Pilates.
Esther has also joined the Polestar Pilates
mentorship to assist other instructors towards their
certification.
Catherine Pettifor
Catherine's fitness background began in her native
England where she taught high energy group
exercise and personal training for 10 years, but when a physio
recommended she take up Pilates to strengthen her core
after a back injury - she never looked back!
She gained her qualifications to instruct from Body Control UK in 2001
and then worked at a number of studios in the UK before
arriving in NZ in 2008 and joining the team at the
Pilates Body Studio. |
